What it is. A learning platform in Dutch about working with AI, for people who want to understand the tools and for teams that need to use them well. Free lessons on using AI day to day, an “AI-Werkplaats” for people who want to build something themselves, and tracks per profession: accountants, installers, teachers and some thirty other jobs.
Why I built it. Most AI material is in English and written for developers. I wanted something a Dutch bookkeeper or teacher can open on a Tuesday evening and actually use the next morning. The platform is also where I turn my own evening experiments into lessons.
For organisations. Companies get e-learning tailored to their work, plus the paper trail the EU AI Act asks for: who was trained in what, and when.
How it is built. A Next.js 16 app in TypeScript on a Postgres database through Drizzle. The AI features talk to the Claude API. It ships as a Docker image through GitHub Actions to a DigitalOcean server, with lint, type checks and tests gating every deploy. Most of the code was written together with Claude Code.
What I learned. Writing for a non-technical reader is harder than building the platform. Every lesson that landed started from a task someone already has, not from the tool. And shipping small and often beats a big launch: the platform grew lesson by lesson, with real feedback in between.
Status. Live and growing. New lessons and professions are added as I go.
